Having trouble integrating COTS software products? How are the products  evaluated?  What are the appropriate integration technologies? Which engineering process should be used? How do to manage projects that use COTS products? Join practitioners and researchers as we share solutions, experiences, and practical research.

We will explore the expanded potential for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software as we "push the COTS envelope" further. COTS products hold great promise in today's environment, where new technologies and domains have exploded in growth, along with the complexity and number of systems.  We will focus on a wider scope of challenges and approaches --technological and organizational-- for constructing, acquiring, fielding, and maintaining software intensive systems that depend on commercial products.

Keynote Speakers:
.  Paul Everitt, founder and product leader of Zope Europe Association (ZEA)
.  Dewayne E. Perry, Motorola Regents Chair of Software Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin
